Who runs this site

Freya's Nearly French is run by Freya Dettrick, based in France. You can contact me at hello@freyasnearlyfrench.com.

What information I collect

Contact form. If you send a message, I receive your name, email address and message, and use them only to reply to you.

Newsletter. If you subscribe, I store your email address to send you new guides. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email or contacting me.

Hosting. This site is hosted by Netlify, Inc., which may process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the site. Form submissions are stored with Netlify.

Advertising and cookies

This site shows ads provided by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. You can learn how Google uses data on partner sites, and manage personalised ads in Google My Ad Center.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before advertising cookies are used, and you can change your choice at any time through the consent message on this site.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how it's used, by emailing me. If you're unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority, or the authority in your country.

How long I keep data

Messages are kept for as long as needed to respond, and newsletter emails until you unsubscribe.
